We at Mountainview Kinesiology use local recreational centers and pools to do our Aquatic Therapy.  Aquatic therapy take advantage of the properties of water buoyancy. When you are submerged in the water, its buoyancy supports your weight and helps you exercise without the load and force of a land based rehab program.

A large range of our clients benefit from aquatic therapy such as injured athletes, seniors with arthritis, individuals recovering from strokes, pre/post major surgery and those who have mobility issues.  The water buoyancy can eliminate 30-99% of the person’s body weight, which provides an excellent way to reduce the pressure on the joints.

Aqua Therapy Can help with:

  • Low back pain

  • Joint pain from sports or daily repetitive activities

  • Neurological and orthopedic injuries

  • Post-surgical debilitation

  • Musculoskeletal issues
